지리산 형제봉(성제봉)에서



4월 초하루..



황사 주의보 경고에도 불구하고

남쪽지방의 꽃잔치가 아쉬워 지리산의 서남쪽

섬진강변 하동의 지리산 형제봉(성재봉)으로 떠납니다.



화개장터에서 쌍계사까지의 유명한 십리 벚꽃길이

지금이 가장 좋은때라 생각되어 꽃구경도 겸하여

소설 '토지'의 배경이기도한 섬진강변 하동 평사리를 들머리로

고소산성 - 봉수대 - 통천문 - 신선대 - 구름다리 - 형제봉(성재봉)

- 원강재 - 해경골 - 중촌 7시간 산행입니다.



너무 강한 황사 때문에 온 새상이 흐리고

온통 흙먼지이지만 4월의 첫 휴일을

때마침 화개장터 벚꽃축제 기간이여서 

만개한 아름다운 벚꽃에 흠뻑 취했습니다.



평사리를 들머리로 고소산성을 오릅니다.





가끔 빗방울도 떨어지고..황사와 흐린날씨지만..





새로운 산의 바위와 능선을 오른다는건 즐거움입니다.





산 아래에 드라마에서 인기를 얻어 관광지가 된

토지의 최참판댁과 악양들판이 한눈에 들어오지만...

너무 강한 황사 때문에 흐리게만 보입니다.





틈틈히 활짝 핀 진달래가 반겨주기도 하고..





철 계단을 오르는 산행은 숨을 가쁘게 합니다.





바위 봉우리에서 내려 보는 시원한 경치는 금새 땀 방울을 식혀주구요.





하늘로 통한다는 통천문 바위입니다.





일명 ＊＊바위라고도...





체격이 좋은 사람은 힘드리 만큼...





힘든 틈(?)사이도 빠져 나왔으니 꽃길도...





아름다운 산은 바위와 어우러져야 제 멋입니다.





가야할 길... 신선대와 뒤쪽에 형제봉 정상이 보입니다.





바위 밑을 지나고...





바위 사이도 지나고...





마치 안개같은 지독한 황사입니다.





온몸이 짜릿짜릿한 출렁거리는 구름다리입니다.





신선대를 지나...





신선대와 구름다리...그리고 수직 철계단





......





.......





형제봉을 오르면서 지나온 길을 되 돌아 봅니다.





드디어 형제봉(성제봉) 정상에 도착합니다.





수많은 봉우리들을 넘고...





원강재를 향해...





자연과 더불어 겸손하게 살려고...





산행을 마치고...

화개장터에서 쌍계사까지 십리 벚꽃길과 하동의 차밭





만개한 벚꽃이 터널을 이루고 길은 주차장이 되고...





너무 심한 황사 탓에 화려한 벚꽃이 흐리게 보이네요.

주차장 처럼 움직이지 않고...이길을 빠져 나오는데..2시간이나..





정말 멋지도록 흐드러진 꽃 구경이였습니다.




 


대하소설 '토지'의 무대 평사리와 악양들...

영호남을 가르는 섬진강의 물줄기를 바라보며 오르는 

경남 하동 형제봉은 산세도 특출하지만 조망이 멋진 곳입니다. 



최근에는 소설의 배경을 그대로 재현해 놓은 

최참판댁이 단장을 하고 여행객들을 맞이하고 있고, 

최참판댁 뒤로 고소성 군립공원이 있어 

섬진강의 굽이굽이를 내려다보기에 더없이 좋은 곳이지만

심한 황사로 인해 맑은 조망이 힘들어 조금 아쉬웠습니다.



때마침 화개장터 벚꽃축제 중이여서

너무나 많은 사람들과 차들로 붐볐지만

산행과 꽃구경을 겸한 즐거운 휴일의 하루였습니다.
